See's Candy Sale!

Available for purchase at the Joshua Tree Library from March 17 to April 19 are a variety of See's one pound boxes and seasonal specialties such as different sorts of chocolate eggs, and more.

Through April 1, the Friends are accepting orders for an assortment of specialty See's Candy including: one pound boxes in Assorted Chocolate and Nuts & Chews varieties, Assorted Lollypops, Marshmallow Eggs 4 oz. Easter eggs in Bordeaux, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Butter and 4 oz. Bunny and Carrot Boxes.. Take a look at the selections in the picture below!!! Orders will be accepted by phone and will be available for pick up the week of April 7.

    The library is currently accepting donations of the following materials in good condition for the book sale: hardcover, softcover, and paperback books, videos, DVD's, Books on Tape or CD, music CD's, and current magazines. The library will not be accepting encyclopedia sets, condensed books, damaged items, or magazines older than one year.

    Funds raised by the book sale are used to purchase new materials for the library and also help support the children's Summer Reading Program.

    Friends of the Joshua Tree Library Mostly Silent Auction

    The Friends Mostly Silent Auction begins Saturday, April 7th with final bids taking place on Saturday, May 3rd. Stop by the JT Library to check out the unique items on display. We are sure you will want to place your bid on one or more.

    Come and bid on rare, out of print and unusual items in the auction!

    The bidding will be in the Silent Auction written format
    until the call for final bids when verbal bids will be accepted.

    Book collectors and book lovers! Come and bid on rare, out of print and unusual items in the auction.

    Proceeds of the silent auction benefit the Friends of the Joshua Tree Library, who provide funding to the library in support the Summer Reading Program. The Friends of the Library also purchase new fiction and non-fiction books, books on CD and newly released DVD's which can be borrowed from the library for a small fee.
